EnterCard is a so-called joint venture, which affects our business structure. We have two equally strong owners – Swedbank and Barclays Bank – who jointly set our overall agenda.
Our advantage is that EnterCard can operate as a smaller and more swift-footed company, while we at the same time get to share our owners’ wealth of global knowledge. When we implement new ideas, develop products or processes, it is standard practice for us to send an email or make a phone call to our colleagues at Swedbank or Barclays Bank. That way we don’t have to reinvent the wheel. It also creates new, intriguing possibilities for knowledge-sharing for both parties.
A global world and global toolkit are available to us. We just have to adapt it to the specific conditions and challenges of our local markets. This in itself, is an exciting challenge.
