EnterCard’s business is based on information technology and sophisticated analysis techniques similar to the ones used within the insurance industry. All card customer transactions and activities are registered in a large database. This makes it possible to create a good understanding of our own and our partners’ card customers, which is a requirement in order to develop customised product offers.
An important part of this process is our “test and learn” methodology that we use together with the large amount of information from our database. The model is a scientific and hypothesis-driven approach to test different customer activities under controlled conditions on a limited amount of card customers, before the launch takes place on a larger scale. By using this process, EnterCard’s marketing and analysis teams can develop ideas, design products and select specific target groups. Actual products are tested empirically with actual customers. This model has partly contributed to EnterCard’s and our partners’ joint successes.
