Union of commercial employees and EnterCard launches new card in Sweden to enforce work safety

With the new membership and credit card - Handels MasterCard from Handels, the union of commercial employees, members will get even more benefits and is part of contributing to a safer working environment.

Handels, the Union of commercial employees is now introducing a new membership card ? Handelskortet. The card can be upgraded to the credit card Handelskortet MasterCard, issued by EnterCard, a leading credit card company on the Nordic market. The new card can be used at more than 22 million places in all over the world.

? Handelskortet MasterCard is a tailor made membership and credit card produced for Handels with benefits specifically developed their members. By enforcing the card as a preferred payment method, Handels sows that they care about the safety for their members, Peter Carter, Managing Director, EnterCard Sweden say.

? In Sweden we are the first affiliate of the LO unions to offer our members a solution of this kind. In Norway and Denmark EnterCard already provides similar solutions. In the future we hope we can offer Nordic features on the card, says Susanna Gideonsson, vice president at Handels. For us and our members, in store safety is a priority. By offering Handelskortet MasterCard to our members we set a good example and further support less use of cash to minimize the risk of robbery for our members, Susanna ends.
