Board of directors

Entercard is a joint venture between Barclays Principal Investments Ltd and Swedbank AB (publ) the “Shareholders”.  The Shareholders elect the Board of Directors at the Shareholders’ Annual General Meeting, usually held in end of March each year. The election is proceeded by nomination procedures executed within the Shareholders’ respective organisation.

The Shareholders’ nomination procedures shall ensure diversity within the Board in terms of the directors’ educational and professional backgrounds, gender, age and geographical provenance.

The Board’s composition shall adhere to applicable laws and regulations, and to the Policy on Gender, Equality and Diversity and the Instruction on Suitability Assessment of the Board of Directors, adopted by the Board.

Recommendations regarding suitable Directors, based on the nomination procedures, are submitted to the Shareholders’ Annual General Meeting. The Shareholders’ annual general meeting elects and appoints directors of the Entercard Board based on the recommendations.

Board of Directors:

Christian Kühn

Born in 1972. Board member since 2018.

Christian Kühn is the CFO of Barclaycard Germany. He has extensive experience from senior positions within the banking industry.

Eva-Li Prades Eriksson

Joseph Jessup

Joseph (Joe) Jessup is Head of Digital, Data and Analytics for Barclaycard Payments, leading digital and data transformation programmes which drive the strategic growth of the Payments Business. He has over 17 years with experience in the Banking/Payments industry in a range of commercial roles in retail credit cards, commercial issuing and payments acquiring.
