Blue Cross Norway
Blue Cross Norway is a diaconal and interdenominational organisation working to support people in their process to master everyday life.
We have chosen to support Blue Cross Norway by offering our time and resources. Several activities Entercard becomes involved in have a focus on children and young people.
Here are some of the activities in which Entercard is currently involved:
Min Jul
Min Jul – My Christmas is a free and open event for children and young people. In partnership with Blue Cross Norway, Entercard organises a Christmas workshop for children, makes Christmas porridge and distributes gifts. Entercard also helps with preparations to Christmas Eve for youth who needs someone to spend the evening with. Before the event, our staff wraps Christmas presents and makes goodie bags for the children.
Chess with young people
Together with Blue Cross Norway, our staff organises chess meetings for young people facing various challenges at one of Blue Cross Norway’s treatment center in Oslo. Junior World Champion Aryan Tari, which is sponsored by Entercard, has taken part in several of these gatherings.
Steg for steg
Through Entercard’s Citizenship Agreement with Blue Cross Norway, some of our employees have assisted as voluntary “time-givers”. Through Steg for Steg which means Step by Step, they help people with challenges, enabling both to gain new perspectives.
