Save money on sales
Sales are now well under way in many shops at the end of the summer, and discounted prices abound in on-line shops. Does your money not cover everything you want on sale? It doesn’t have to be so expensive to pay for your dream sofa by credit card. 
For example, if you buy a corner sofa on sale at half price for NOK 6,000, you can pay the amount over four months in equal instalments. Then the monthly payment is NOK 1,541 and the total cost of the sofa is only NOK 6,162. 

Sales in on-line shops
You can save a lot of money by shopping for seasonal clothing, shoes and accessories right now. Many on-line shops have large seasonal sales at present, but remember to be quick. To find your size, you must act soon because sizes are quickly gone. It is also best to use a credit card when shopping on-line. Then you have the best possible consumer rights. 

Shopping centre days with bargains
Perhaps your nearest shopping centre is open in the evenings or will have bargain days in the near future? Look in customer magazines and on-line. Many shopping centres have their own bargain days, with additional discounts and offers on a number of products in different shops. 

Here are some good tips for the sales:

Don’t look only at the sale price. A sofa or a dress is not any better just because the price is reasonable. Would you buy the item at full price? If the answer is yes, simply shop away and swipe your card.

Find sales items that you would like even if they weren’t on sale, and only buy things you need. First, make an assessment of what you need in your home or wardrobe.

Keep an eye on when the various shops start their sales. If you are quick, there is a good chance you will get the bargain on items you have been looking for, such as a sofa or a designer dress. 

If you buy clothes during the sales, go for basic garments that do not go out of style, such as jeans, black or white dresses or simple party shoes.
