What does your team do?

At IT Operations we are a team of more than 15 people working every day to make sure that the IT stuff works as it should. This include the ServiceDesk, Incident managers, coordination of changes within systems just to mention some of it. There are many vendors varying in size and complexity that we work with, always with the aim to make sure that you as an employee experience as little disturbance as possible in your workday.

We work closely with other departments to make sure our solutions align with business needs and regulatory requirements. It’s a dynamic environment where teamwork and communication are key.

What is the best thing about Entercard?

Being a company within the finance industry forces a lot of regulations upon us, but we navigate the best way we can. It’s motivating to be part of an organization that values innovation and continuous learning.

For many AI is becoming a slightly worn-out buzzword, but I think we at Entercard are lucky to be in a company that can jump in with both feet in this area that is potentially the largest revolution of our generation.

How is it to work with your role in the finance industry?

As mentioned, working in the finance industry means operating in a highly regulated business. This can be both challenging and frustrating, but I think we are facing this challenge together. An important factor for my motivation is contributing intellectually, and I think the industry is one that is good at using people’s thoughts and new ideas.
