About the Currency Calculator
Entercard uses Mastercards at the current currency exchange rate when you shop abroad with your Mastercard credit card. Information about Entercard's currency exchange surcharge can be found in the respective product's general terms and conditions.
In accordance with EU legislation (regulation 2019/518), you as a customer of Entercard have the right to receive information about your currency exchange surcharge expressed as a percentage surcharge in relation to the European Central Bank's exchange rate (applicable EEA currencies).
Automatic notification of currency exchange surcharges
Now you can go into the app to choose to receive notifications or text messages that contain information about the currency exchange surcharge in kroner and as a percentage, after you have made card purchases or withdrawals in an EEA currency.
The messages also contain a percentage showing the bank's mark-up as a percentage in relation to the European Central Bank's current reference exchange rate for the current currency. The notification function is available for all our private cards.
